Police detain two bus passengers for unlicensed firearm

By BBN Staff: Today, police detained a man and a woman riding a Tillett bus for possession of an unlicensed firearm.

Officers made a routine stop at a checkpoint on the Philip Goldson Highway this morning and found the .38 revolver when searching the couple.

The man, 24, and woman, 26, were taken to the Belama police station pending charges.
