Eddie de la Rosa: “Justice of the Peace that signed off on land documents being investigated”

By BBN Staff: While no names were called on this morning’s, Plus TV show with an exclusive interview of former UDP associate, Eddie de la Rosa, he detailed how the alleged land scheme occurred under the former Minister of Works.

De la Rosa said that residents of the Cayo Central constituency would be offered food or financial assistance but would need to present their Social Security cards.

Those Social Security cards would reportedly then be used for illegal land transfer deals reportedly spearheaded by then, Minister of Works and signed off by a well-known Justice of the Peace.

De la Rosa refused to call the name of the JP citing that there is an ongoing investigation into the actions of the JP, whose name appears all over the land documents.

“ For 6 years I went back and forth to Lands, all the work I did was for Montero…… It is more than a lot of land. Over 20 people that have been contacted are willing to go in front of a judge and speak,” De la Rosa said.

He added that the names and SSB cards of over 100 people from Cayo Central were used in the land deals.
