By BBN Staff: A letter sent to investors by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Corozal Free Zone, Neri Ramirez explained that the re-opening of the Free Zone is scheduled for February 1, 2021.
“ We urge all investors who have not yet collected their contribution letters for the opening of the CFZ to please do so now and to make their contributions promptly,” the letter expressed.
Ramirez added that the contributions would allow them to purchase the sanitization equipment necessary for the implementation of health and safety protocols.
Businesses at the Corozal Free Zone were affected as countless others in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
