COVID-19 Update: 53 new cases identified, 1 death reported

By BBN Staff: Data from the Ministry of Health and Wellness indicate that of the 383 tests done today, 53 new cases were identified.

One patient lost their life to COVID-19.
To date, 278 people have lost their lives to COVID-19 in Belize.

Sixty seven patients recovered from the virus.

The Ministry continues to remind the public to wear a face mask properly, maintain consistent physical distancing, avoid social gatherings, and wash and sanitize hands often.
