Weather: Rain continues, but expected to recede on Thursday

The National Meteorological Service says conditions remain mostly cool and wet.

Skies will be cloudy with a few showers and periods of rain starting along the coast this morning and spreading to most areas this afternoon and tonight.
Winds are from the east to northeast at 5 to 15 knots, sea state is choppy.

High temperatures will reach 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 84 inland and 68 in the hills. Low temperatures tonight will be 72 degrees along the coast, 68 in the interior and 66 in the hills.

Tides will be high at 10:51 a.m. and low at 3:44 p.m. then high again at 10:04 p.m. The Sun rose at 6:25 a.m. and will set at 5:37 p.m.

On Thursday there will be cloudy spells and a gradual decrease in shower activity, becoming isolated thereafter.
