Family of four arrested for unlicensed ammo

By BBN Staff: A family of four from Orange Walk were all charged with firearm offences this week.

Anibal Lopez, 38; Rosa Lopez, 31; and their two daughters, both minors, were all arrested on Wednesday after police searched their home and found four 16-gauge shotgun cartridges inside one of their bedrooms.

They were all charged with possession of ammunition without having a gun license.

Lopez is a watchman on the Camalote farm where police were conducting anti-drug searches.
