Two men and a minor charged for crack cocaine

By BBN Staff: Orange Walk police arrested two men and a minor this week after searches revealed crack cocaine in the house where they reside.

Officers conducted a search around 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday at the house of Amin Mendez, 27, using a K-9 unit. The K-9 alerted the officers to a glass display shelf, and under it were four crack cocaine rocks that weighed a total of 1.9 grams. There was also another bag containing 1.9 grams of cocaine powder.

Mendez; William Ramirez, 21, and the minor, 16, were all arrested and charged with two counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply to another with 1.9 grams of suspected crack cocaine and 1.9 grams of suspected cocaine powder.
