By BBN Staff: This past week, there was a buzz countrywide caused by the introduction of a new Belizean product to the Belizean market. This product was none other than Pirate Beer. On January 9th, 2021, the Caribbean International Brewery Company Limited (CIBCL) informed the public via a press release that Pirate Beer would make its promising debut on the market.
CIBCL is located in Carmelita Village, in Orange Walk, and is a Belizean company through and through! In their press release, CIBCL stated that they were committed to introducing this Belizean Beer as a means of contributing to the growth of Belize’s economy, through revenue and job creation.
“For years we have been conducting surveys and research and found that the Belizean market was ready for a new product that offers a different but unique experience. We have combined the use of high quality, choice ingredients with years of brewing experience from our Brew master and came up with a blend that will cater for even the most selective palates,” CIBCL noted.
The company is producing Pirate Beer in the form of a 285ml bottle with an alcohol content of 4.9% Alcohol/Vol. and a 251ml bottle at an alcohol content of 4.3% Alcohol/Vol.
CIBCL was not finished there, as they have made their future plans quite clear: there will be more products to come in their line of flavored carbonated drinks.
“Our products will be both for the local Belizean Market and the Export Market, where our products mainly aim at the overseas market and some supplementary share of the local market,” the company added.
Established in 2014, CIBCL has been bottling purified water (H2O, primarily sold in Orange Walk and Corozal), for the past 2 years.
The company pledged to continue delivering and improving where necessary because Belizeans deserve the best.
