Ministry of Health and Wellness reports lowest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases for 2021 thus far

By BBN Staff: There have been over 1,000 newly-reported cases of COVID-19 since the start of 2021, but today, the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) reported the lowest number of confirmed cases in a single day since the beginning of the new year.

The MOHW’s latest COVID-19 update said that there were only 12 newly confirmed cases today.

The new cases came from a sample batch of 199 tests giving a positivity rate of 6.03%.

Of the newly confirmed cases, 7 were female and 5 were male.

The new cases also bring the national total up to 11,592.
