Recoveries and hospitalizations due to COVID-19 split 88-17

By BBN Staff: The latest COVID-19 data coming from the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) says that there have been 88 new recoveries from COVID-19, but that 17 people remain hospitalized due to the virus.

With the new recoveries, the national total for recovered COVID-19 patients goes up to 10,792, while the national recovery rate stands as 93.0.

Among the 17 hospitalizations, two people are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) needing critical medical intervention to stay alive.

The Ministry is also currently investigating 99 suspected cases of COVID-19.

Members of the public are asked to continue adhering to the established protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.
