Twenty-three new cases of COVID-19 confirmed, second-lowest to date

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) has reported 23 new cases of COVID-19, making it the second-lowest total in a single day for 2021.

The new cases were confirmed from a sample batch of 247 tests.

Of the new cases, fourteen of them were females and nine were males.

The new cases bring the national total to 11,615 and the national positivity rate to 20.1. Of the national total for confirmed cases, 466 are still active.

The MOHW also has 156 suspected cases of COVID-19 under investigation.
