By BBN Staff: Today, the Ministry of Human Development, Families and Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs announced the selection of exemplary educator, Rossana Briceño as Special Envoy for the Development of Families and Children.
Briceño will be officially appointed to her post in a ceremony to be held on Friday, January 22, 2021.
Briceño, the wife of Prime Minister John Briceño, holds a master’s degree in Educational Leadership as well as a master’s degree in Curriculum Development and Diagnostic Assessment. She also has a bachelor’s degree in Special Education.
Briceno has taught at Stella Maris School and St. Peter’s Anglican School where she currently serves as Principal.
She has been an advocate for students with special needs since 1987 and has worked closely with women’s groups.
