San Antonio resident wins logo design contest for Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing

By BBN Staff: Today, the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MidH) announced the winner of the logo design contest for the ministry.

San Antonio resident, Darwin Tzib’s entry won the contest.

Tzib’s submission was among 150 others from talented persons across the nation.

Tzib says that he has enjoyed designing and it is something he sees as art.

“I see designing as a form of art; manipulating the colors, shapes and characteristic of each component. I also strongly believe everyone should explore their artistic side when possible as it not only calms you but gives you a sense of pride to see your finished work. Entering the competition was not solely based on a desire to win, but on having fun in the process. I am glad my entry was selected as the winner and thank the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing for the opportunity given to all Belizeans,” Tzib said.

The new logo design etches the words, hard-work, service, integrity and efficiency.
