By BBN Staff: The latest COVID-19 update coming from the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW), says that over 11,000 Belizeans have recovered from the virus.

The Ministry’s daily update said that there were 47 newly-confirmed recoveries, bringing the national total up to 11,009.

The national positivity rate has also gone up to 94.1.

Meanwhile, 16 people remain hospitalized due to the virus and two people are receiving advanced medical intervention within an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
