By BBN Staff: Two Salvadoran fugitives that were detained at the Belize Central Prison for immigration offenses were today handed over to Interpol.
Authorities of the Belize Police Department, Immigration Department and Special Patrol Unit handed over Daniel Antonio Ayala Galdamez, wanted for aggravated homicide and Alexis Wilfredo Rivera Martinez who was wanted for aggravated extortion committed in El Salvador.
The men were expelled from Belize.
Both fugitives were handed over to Interpol Guatemala who later handed them to Interpol El Salvador.
