By Aaron Humes: With 15 new cases today, the Belize District (excluding San Pedro Town which has 547 confirmed cases) is now approaching 3 thousand confirmed cases of COVID-19, the most of the six districts.
Belize City reported seven new cases; the village of Maskall, six; and Ladyville, two.
Corozal reported one case in the village of Chunox while Orange Walk had none.
The adjoining villages of Camalote and Teakettle have one case each; Dangriga Town, two; and Punta Gorda Town, two.
The Belize District (excluding San Pedro Town) has had 2,943 active cases, followed by Orange Walk with 2,410; Cayo, 2,344; Corozal, 1,556; Stann Creek, 1,226; Toledo, 696; and San Pedro, 547. If the mainland and San Pedro figures were added together, the Belize District would be approaching 3,500 total cases, with 3,490 reported between them.
