By Aaron Humes: Generally, fair conditions prevail according to the National Meteorological Service (Belize Met Service), supporting mostly sunny skies today, and clear to partly cloudy skies tonight with little or no rainfall expected.
Winds will blow from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots; the sea state will be moderate to rough. A small craft caution is in effect for occasionally gusty winds and locally rough seas.
Temperatures will reach highs of 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 93 over most inland areas and 82 in the hills. Tonight, the mercury falls to 78 degrees along the coast, 71 inland, and 65 in the hills.
Tides will be high at 8:47 a.m. this morning, low at 1:22 p.m. this afternoon, then high again at 7:34 p.m. tonight.
The sun rose at 6:25 a.m. this morning and will set at 5:44 p.m. this evening.
The extended outlook for Wednesday into Wednesday night is for mainly fair conditions with isolated showers or periods of rain developing during the night, especially.
