Ministry of Health and Wellness: 18 new cases, 56 confirmed recoveries in the latest COVID-19 data

By Aaron Humes: Active cases are now hovering just above 300, after 18 new confirmed cases against 56 recovered cases in the latest batch of COVID-19 data.

There are exactly 48 thousand negative tests and 11,187 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic in March 2020. Nearly 95 percent of cases have recovered.

The daily positivity rate is just over 8 percent in the current batch of cases, with 221 tests done today.

The total number of active cases is 308, with 210 under investigation.

12 persons are hospitalized and 3 of those are in intensive care, but no new deaths were reported today, keeping the count at 293.
