Fifty-six COVID-19 deaths reported in January as the month winds down

By BBN Staff: There are only days left in the month of January, but 56 people have died from COVID-19 thus far, according to data from the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).

The Ministry’s latest national update said that there is one newly reported COVID-19 death.

This latest death brings the national total up to 294, and the fatality rate up to 2.49.

The total number of deaths is split between 97 females and 197 males.
