By BBN Staff: The latest COVID-19 data released by the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW) says that there have been 28 newly-confirmed cases

The new cases were confirmed from a sample batch of 270 tests.

The latest cases were split between 11 females and 17 males.

Belize’s national total for confirmed cases now stands at 11,816 and the positivity rate has dropped to 19.7.

The MOHW said that there are still 286 active cases and another 306 suspected cases under investigation.
