By BBN Staff: The Belize Defence Force will celebrate its 43rd anniversary on Friday, January 29.
A curtail ceremonial parade will be held at 10 a.m. Friday to commemorate the event.
The Belize Defence Force was formed on the 1st January 1978 with the amalgamation of the Belize Volunteer Guards and the Police Special Force.
The Parade is normally held on the last Friday in January followed by an Open Day on Saturday.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the parade will not be open to the public and there will be no open day.
