By BBN Staff: Minister of Health and Wellness and Area Representative Cayo North, Michel Chebat, said today that after visiting the Victor Galvez Stadium in San Ignacio, the situation of the building is “disheartening”.
“There are broken windows, doors, poorly painted walls, broken pipes, poor planned-out sewage systems and an unequipped basketball court with no room for bleachers. The previous government saddled us with immense debt and poorly built architecture,” Chebat said.
The stadium was being used previously as a quarantine facility.
