Belize Electricity Limited announces planned power outage for Corozal district tomorrow

By BBN Staff: Belize Electricity Limited (BEL) has announced that there will be a planned power outage affecting the Corozal district tomorrow, Tuesday, February 2, 20201.

The outage is set to affect College Road from Philip Goldson Highway to Olga Marin Drive, Venezuela Site, Hermelinda, and Halls Layout; 10th Avenue between 3rd Street S and 5th Street S, Diego Street, Chak Pon Street, Seagrape Street, William Schofield Street from College Road to Seagrape Street, portion Port Saul Road off College Road, Pimenta Street and portion Olga Marin Drive.

BEL explained that the outage is necessary to install distribution infrastructure for customers and remove hazardous vegetation growing into power lines in the area.
