By BBN Staff: Belize has confirmed 12 new cases of COVID-19, according to the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).
The Ministry’s latest national update shows that the 12 cases came from a batch of 199 tests.
Newly-confirmed cases were split between eight females and four males.
The new cases bring the national total up to 11,957 and the positivity rate up to 19.1.
Of the national total, 276 cases are still active. The Ministry also has 266 suspected cases under investigation.
