By BBN Staff: The Corozal Free Zone opened on Monday after being closed for months due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cabinet had agreed for the re-opening of the Free Zone on February 1 in line with regulations from the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
In a video shared with BBN, investors and employees are seen waiting to get tested before entering the Free Zone.
Local Mexican news report that approximately 3,000 people entered the Free Zone on day 1 of the re-opening.
