COVID-19 recovery rate at 95 percent in Belize

By BBN Staff: The COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect people in countries around the world.

While the number of confirmed cases continue to rise, the recovery rate in Belize is at 95 percent.

To date, Belize has recorded 12,013 confirmed cases of the virus.

Of those, 11,468 patients recovered.

There are 239 active cases of COVID-19.

The Ministry of Health and Wellness continues its COVID-19 education campaign advising the public to practice social distancing and wash hands frequently.
