Weather: Near-perfect weather expected through weekend

By BBN Staff: It’s back to fair and warm conditions across Belize according to the National Meteorological Service – mostly sunny skies in the daytime, partly cloudy skies tonight and no rainfall on the way.

Winds are from the southeast at 5 to 15 knots and sea state is moderate to rough; a small craft caution is in effect for locally rough seas.

High temperatures are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast; 94 degrees inland and 84 in the hills; tonight, expect temperatures of 78 degrees along the coast; 72 in the interior and 66 in the hills.

Tides were high at 6:21 a.m. and will be again at 5:10 p.m., and low at 10:44 a.m. The Sun rose at 6:23 a.m. this morning and will set at 10 minutes to six this evening.

The extended outlook for Sunday and Sunday night is for mainly fair weather to prevail with only isolated showers.
