Gas price increase again, Diesel now over $9

By BBN Staff: Today the Government of Belize announced its latest gas price increase, sending diesel fuel above $9 a gallon.

The Ministry of Finance said that the price per gallon for Diesel is going up by 46 cents from $8.74 to $9.20. The change will come into effect on February 9.

Prices for Regular, Premium, and Kerosene will remain the same.

Notably, the change comes just under a week after the price of Regular fuel went up by 51 cents.

The price change represents the fourth adjustment since the start of 2021.
