PUP endorses Elvia Vega-Samos as the standard-bearer for  Corozal Bay

By BBN Staff: Over the weekend, the People’s United Party (PUP) endorsed the sister of the late Corozal Bay area representative, ‘Dido’ Vega as the standard-bearer for the Corozal Bay constituency.

Elvia Vega Samos will represent the PUP in a bi-election scheduled to be held the same day as municipal elections.

Samos’ campaign slogan “Dis one da fi Dido” resonates as a tribute to her brother who lost the battle with COVID-19 shortly after being elected in Corozal Bay.
