By BBN Staff: For the second time since the year began, there are less than 10 people hospitalized due to COVID-19, according to data from the Ministry of Health and Wellness (MOHW).
The Ministry’s data showed that there are seven people currently in COVID-19 units across the country, the same as on January 28, when hospitalizations were at their lowest point for the year so far.
There are currently two people receiving critical care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), due to worsening symptoms from the virus.
Meanwhile, the MOHW has reported that 30 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 bringing the national total for recoveries up to 11,509.
The country’s recovery rate remains at 95.4.
“Please continue to wear a face mask properly, maintain consistent physical distancing, avoid social gatherings, and wash and sanitize hands often,” the MOHW said. ” Please be safe and stay at home unless conducting essential business.”
