Police department implements ticketing system

By BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department has now implemented its ticketing system for those found violating the COVID-19 regulations.

Those found in violations of orders can be issued with a violation ticket not exceeding $500.00 and nothing less for any offenses committed.

The police urge the public to familiarize themselves with the public health regulations.

“The Police have been taught to be courteous and exercise discretion and at the same time being fair and firm,” a statement from the department said.
