World Health Organization: COVID-19 spread is unlikely from Wuhan lab

Posted: Tuesday, February 9, 2021. 11:39 am CST.

By BBN Staff: The team of scientists from the World Health Organization (WHO) said that it was unlikely that the COVID-19 virus may have spread from a lab in Wuhan, La Prensa Latina reports.

According to the scientists, the lab theory “is extremely unlikely to explain the introduction of the virus into the humans.”

A Chinese health expert also said that the virus may have been present in other places before it was found in Wuhan.

The team of experts visited key locations in Wuhan during their investigations.

The WHO says that it is too early to conclude where the virus originated.
