Five people currently hospitalized with COVID-19

By BBN Staff: There are only five patients hospitalized due to COVID-19, marking the third time there have been less than 10 people hospitalized due to the virus since the start of 2021.

Admissions in the Intensive Care Unit for worsening COVID symptoms are currently down to two patients, according to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.

Meanwhile, the MOHW has reported that 40 more patients have recovered from COVID-19 bringing the national total for recoveries up to 11,605.

The country’s recovery rate has also gone up to 95.8.

“Please continue to wear a face mask properly, maintain consistent physical distancing, avoid social gatherings, and wash and sanitize hands often,” the MOHW said. ” Please be safe and stay at home unless conducting essential business.”
