Toledo records 8 of 20 new COVID-19 cases

By Aaron Humes: The Toledo District recorded eight new cases of COVID-19 to lead the daily table.

With 777 cases including today’s report, it is the reporting area with the least number of infections.

Three cases each were recorded in Punta Gorda Town and Hicatee Creek and two in San Marcos.

Dangriga and Independence recorded 3 and 1 cases; there were one each in Belmopan, Cotton Tree, Las Flores and Roaring Creek, Cayo; Belize City, Ladyville and San Pedro Town; and Corozal Town. Orange Walk District is the only one without a case to report today.

Belize District except for San Pedro Town continues to lead the national table with 3,063 total cases, followed by Cayo at 2,449; Orange Walk, 2,428; Corozal, 1,580; Stann Creek, 1,286; Toledo, 777, and San Pedro, 551.
