By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service projects mainly fair weather to continue countrywide, with mostly sunny skies today and only isolated showers developing.
Tonight, however, the North will see some rain as skies countrywide will be partly cloudy to cloudy.
Winds are from the east to southeast at 10 to 20 knots. Sea state is moderate to rough and a small craft caution is in effect for occasional gusty winds and rough seas.
High temperatures today are 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, 92 degrees over the interior and 82 in the hills. Tonight will be fairly cool at 75 degrees Fahrenheit in coastal areas, 70 inland and 63 in the hills.
Tides will be high at 10:58 a.m. this morning and 10:41 p.m. tonight and high at 4:29 p.m. this afternoon. The Sun rose at twenty minutes after six this morning and sets at 5:53 p.m. this evening.
The extended outlook through Saturday night shows showers and possible isolated thunderstorms over northern and inland areas in daytime, spreading to the coast at night.
