By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service (Belize Met Service) says a relatively mild northwesterly airflow will support cloudy skies at times, with a few showers, periods of rain, and possible isolated thunderstorms likely in some parts of Belize today, decreasing to isolated occurrences later.
Winds are from the north to northwest at 10 to 20 knots, switching later to the east to northeast at 5 to 15 knots. Sea State is light chop to choppy.
High temperatures today are expected to reach 82 degrees Fahrenheit in coastal areas, 86 degrees inland, and 77 in the hills. Tonight expect 75 degrees along the coast, 68 inland, and 65 in the hills.
Tides will be low at 7:11 a.m. and 7:41 p.m. and high at 12:53 p.m.
The sun rose at 6:18 a.m. and sets at 5:54 p.m.
Fair weather returns on Wednesday with little or no rainfall occurring.
