Fire claims home in Carmelita

By Aaron Humes: Two families lost their homes to fire over the weekend – one in San Ignacio and the other in Carmelita, Orange Walk District.

The latter fire, which took place on Saturday, completely gutted a wooden and concrete structure belonging to Gerald Gabourel. No one was at home at the time of the fire.   

ACP Joseph Myvett said that Gabourel, as of this writing, is yet to make an official report in relation to the fire. At this point in time, also, the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
