Fatal shooting in Lords’ Bank, gunman chased victim down to kill him

By BBN Staff: A man was shot dead in Lord’s Bank Village last night.

Police say that around 9:00 p.m. Floyd Carter, 20, and his brother-in-law had just left his girlfriend’s house on Serosi Street when an armed man approached them and told them not to move.

Carter, however, took off running and the man chased him and began shooting. Carter received several gunshot wounds to the body and died on the spot.

Police have launched an investigation into this latest homicide.
