Police investigate Plues Street shooting in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred around 2:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Eugene Thompson, 38, told police that he and Jenine Lamb were standing on Plues Street when a lone gunman walked towards them and fired shots at them.

Both sustained gunshot injuries and were taken for medical treatment.

Police investigations continue.
