Police seek public assistance in Jerome McLaren murder investigation

Posted: Wednesday, February 17, 2021. 11:39 am CST.

By BBN Staff: The Belize Police Department is calling on the public to report whatever information they have available on the murder of Jerome McLaren, 21, that happened earlier this week.

McLaren was gunned down on Monday night, while he sat on a motorcycle in a yard on Cleghorn Street. Authorities say he was not suspected to be involved with any high-profile criminal activity, and therefore have difficulty establishing a motive for his murder.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to report it by calling 922 or the nearest police station.

Information can also be sent anonymously through the P3 App at www.P3tips.com.
