Senior transport officers participate in training workshop

By BBN Staff: The Ministry of Public Utilities, Energy, and Logistics hosted a one-day training workshop for senior transport officers and motor vehicle inspectors in the Transport Department.

The workshop was held on February 16, 2021.

The workshop was aimed at:

Defining new strategies for the Transport Department

Establishing new targets and a reporting framework

Reviewing key roles and responsibilities for the Transport Department

The workshop began with an introduction by Marconi Leal Jr., Chief Executive Officer in the Ministry.

Leal presented new strategies for the Transport Department.

 Facilitators included Tirso Galvez, Chief Transport Officer; Peter Williams, Operations Officer; and Samantha Hibberd, Administrative Assistant in the Ministry.

The Ministry thanked the officers and inspectors for their participation in the training and encouraged them to effectively apply the valuable information and knowledge gained in their line of duty to achieve the strategic goals of the Transport Department.
