By Aaron Humes: The Old Capital is by far Belize’s largest and oldest municipality, and the only one to vote for more than seven members of the municipal council.
Belize City residents will vote for one mayor and ten councilors from among these:
People’s United Party: Bernard Wagner, Mayor; Javier Castellanos, Kaya Cattouse, Micah Goodin, Stephanne Hamilton, Edmund Kwan, Michael Novelo, Natasha Pipersburgh, Allan Pollard, Jr., Deannie Requeña, Albert Vaughan, councillors.
United Democratic Party: Orson Picart, Mayor; Kera Bowman, Andrew Bradley, Alisha Craig, Dr Alain Gonzalez, Leon Guild, Allan Kelly, Kenny Morgan, Anazette Olivera, Meagan Tasher, Shane Williams, councillors.
Belize Progressive Party: Richard McCaulay, Mayor; Garry Matus, Patrick Williams, councillors.
Independent: Ernesto Torres, councillor.
