Westrac hands over two refurbished bathrooms to primary school in Bullet Tree, Cayo

By BBN Staff: On Thursday, 18^th February, Westrac Limited, based in Spanish Lookout, handed over two refurbished bathrooms at the Immaculate Conception R.C. School in Bullet Tree Falls, Cayo. These two (2) bathrooms were refurbished to improve sanitation in the school and provide more privacy to students.

Westrac’s Marketing Manager, Julian Thiessen, outlined how Westrac was able to assist in this community project. Thiessen noted that after years of wear and tear the bathrooms were in dire need of an upgrade. The team at Westrac paid attention to this need, and worked along with one of their international brand suppliers, PURE GUARD, to procure the necessary funding for the renovation.

Attending today’s ceremony was the Principal of the Immaculate Conception R.C. School, Ronnie Ulloa, as well as teachers, and other members of staff. Principal Ulloa thanked PURE GUARD and Westrac for their kind contribution. Ulloa noted that as the country looks forward to the eventual reopening of schools, this renovation of their bathrooms is considered timely.

During the short handing over ceremony, Juilian Thiessen of Westrac, expressed how important community involvement is to their company, and his wish is that this donation will enhance the well-being of the students.
