By Aaron Humes: It’s gone by pretty fast, but this last week saw the People’s United Party administration of John Briceño, elected on November 11, 2021, reach 100 days in office.
There has been wide discussion, especially on social media, about what promises made by his administration have, and have not been fulfilled, but the Prime Minister told reporters that his Government will have the last say on that.
“What we did is that yesterday (Thursday), I made a short recording which will be made public on Monday, and I also plan to meet with the media next week to make a presentation on our 100 days but also to make a presentation on the financial state of the country,” Briceño explained.
This would in fact be the first formal press conference held by the Prime Minister since he took office, though he and his Ministers have participated in several press briefings since then.
We’ll have more on this in future stories.
