The National Meteorological Service of Belize (Belize Met Service) says that cool and relatively moist conditions will prevail today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a few showers or periods of light rain mainly over central and southern areas, decreasing tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 78 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 72 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 68 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 62 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
Winds will be blowing Northeast between 10-20 knots, and the sea state will be rough.
“A small craft warning is in effect for dangerous high waves. Operators of small crafts should stay in safe harbor,” the Met Service said.
High tide came in at 6:39 a.m. and low tide will occur at 10:40 a.m.
The sun will set at 5:56 p.m. and the moon will rise at 12:52 p.m.
