Cayo man critical after chopping incident, police seek two suspects

By BBN Staff: A man from Camalote Village in the Cayo District is fighting for his life at the Western Regional Hospital (WRH) after being chopped multiple times yesterday.

Police responded to a call in the Young Bank area of the village, and upon arrival found Jose Alberto Gonzalez, 36, lying on the ground with several chop wounds to his body.

Authorities transported him to the WRH where he is listed as being in a critical condition.

Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation and are currently seeking two suspects in connection with the incident.
