U.S. Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires meets with Minister of Public Utilities, Energy and Logistics

By BBN Staff: Today, the United States Embassy’s Chargé d’Affaires, a.i. Keith Gilges met with Minister of Public Utilities, Energy, and Logistics, Rodwell Ferguson.

Discussions included partnering to promote solar and natural gas power production.

During their discussion, Ferguson shared Belize’s plans to modernize transportation through the introduction of electric buses and transport infrastructure.

Gilges continues to meet with the new Ministers of Government to discuss partnering opportunities.
