By BBN Staff: Since March of 2020, students have been engaged in distance learning.

With classes closed, teachers, parents, and students have been using technology to keep updated with the curriculum.

During an interview with Open Your Eyes on Monday, the Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Technology, Francis Fonseca said that the Ministry is looking at re-opening classes in September.

“Our timeline is for rolling out this phased approach between April and September. So our objective would be that come September everyone, our hope, and objective is that everyone should be back in the classroom for the new school year. But we can’t wait for September. We have to make sure we are taking a phased approach to it,” Fonseca said.

For now, parents continue to work with students at home to complete their assignments sent via different platforms.
