Nine new COVID-19 cases reported

By BBN Staff: As Belize’s COVID-19 curve continues to flatten, the Ministry of Health and Wellness is reporting only nine newly-confirmed cases today.

According to the latest COVID-19 national update,  the nine cases were detected among a sample batch of 1,579 tests.

New cases were split between two females and seven males.

The daily positivity rate was 0.57 and the overall positivity rate was adjusted to 16.6.

The national total for infections has gone up to 12,264.
