By BBN Staff: Governor-General of Belize, Colville Young, virtually received letters of credence of five new ambassadors accredited to Belize.
Presenting letters of credence were Archbishop H Fortunatus Nwachukwu, non-resident ambassador of the Holy See; Khaled AbdelRahman Shamaa, non-resident ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt; Terézia Šajgalíková, non-resident ambassador of the Slovak Republic; Masaya Fujiwara, non-resident ambassador of Japan; and Zvi Tal, non-resident ambassador of Israel.
The ambassadors thanked the Governor-General for welcoming them and expressed their wishes for strengthening bilateral relations between Belize and their respective countries.
The Governor-General welcomed the ambassadors on behalf of the people and Government of Belize and thanked them for their expressions of cooperation.
